Free cancer screening camp at Vadapalani centre: July 17 to 20

Paterson Cancer Center is a comprehensive cancer care center, inaugurated by the then President, Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam in 2003.

It is completing its eighth year of service. Paterson Cancer Center, under the auspices of Cancer Alleviation Foundation (CALF), a charitable trust, works with the motto of creating a cancer-free society.

In connection with the eighth anniversary of the center, a  Cancer Awareness & Free Cancer Screening Program for the general public would be conducted on the 17.07.2011 at 9.30 am.

A panel of specialists in Oncology would directly interact with the public and answer their queries. The ambassadors for the program would be treated cancer patients who would interact with the public and instill confidence in them that cancer is curable.

The free cancer screening camp would continue until 20.07.2011 between 2.00 am & 5.00 pm. The candidates would undergo basic blood & Urine investigations, Ultra sound, Chest X-Ray, ECG, Pap smear, Infrared mammogram & Biopsy (If required).
