Two young dancers win top prizes in contest

Two young Bharatanatyam dancers, Jyothsna A and Namrata Sivakumar of this area did themselves proud when they won top prizes at a classical dance contest in Mylapore.
Both are students of PSBB school in K K Nagar.
The duo won the first and second prizes respectively at the recently held event hosted by Sivaswamy Kalalaya school, a CBSE school in Mylapore which is also celebrating its silver jubilee this year.
Jyothsna is a class 7 student  and a disciple of dance guru Anitha Guha  who runs the well known Bharathanjali school and Namrata is class 8 student and is a disciple of Sheela Unnikrishnan  who runs the Sridevi Nrityalaya school in Vadapalani.
