New store for kids, preetens. In Valasarawakkam.
S & M Kids Wear opened a showroom in Valasarawakkam on October 9. This is a nice place to shop for kidswear. The store sells readymades for kids between 3 to 16 years. There is a range of colourful, good quality cotton wear and several types of modern outfits on the shelves.
S. Ramanathan is the Managing Partner of S & M Kids Wear, that has its manufacturing unit in Bangalore. He is the Managing Director of Muthukumarasamy Textiles Ltd. R. Umadevi is another Managing Partner.
L. Bhagchand, Ranjit and Arihant Khivasra are the S & M franchisee here.
This is the chain’s second store in Tamilnadu, after the one in Coimbatore. The promoters also have plans to open more showrooms.
S&M Kids Wear product range includes formal wear and casual wear of 100% cotton, in certain cases organic cotton.
It consists of primarily 2 segments i.e. ready-wear 3 to 8 years and 9 to 16 years preteen for both boys and girls.
Basic solid round neck, t-shirts, polo T-shirts, yarn dyed T-shirts, chest prints t-shirts, woven trousers, three-fourth canvas trousers, shirts, canvas pants, denim pants, night wear, denim jackets, hooded flees jackets and specific winter wear for boys and girls. S&M says its is the first company to offer truly formal dresses for kids and preteens.
Right now, the store offers 20 % offer on purchases of Rs 750. A nice offer for Diwali.
