Police officers discuss security measures with residents of Saligramam

Posting of Watchman/Security Guard/installation of Surveillance Cameras on each and every apartments would alone help us to prevent crime rate, said Manohar, ACP-Vadapalani range during the interaction meeting he had with the members of Residential Welfare Associations at Saligramam, Chennai.
On the directions of the Commissioner of Police, this ACP had arranged a “Police-Public Meet” at the Corporation office, Saligramam, on 24.1.2010 where the members of Residential Welfare Associations in Saligramam had gathered.
The ACP said that crime occurred only in apartments where there were no watchmen.
R.Gnanasekaran,Inspector (L & O), Suresh, Inspector (Crime) both of R-5 Police station were present alongwith the Sub Inspectors of the station.
URWA office bearers, A.Paramanathan, P.Murugaian, R.Ravi and Banerjee were present alongwith the members of the other associations.
