Vairamuthu opens arts academy’s new space
Mahathi Academy of Music and Dance shifted to its own building.
The new address is - “Mahathi” No-5, Syed Khader Avenue, near Balalok School, Venkatesh Nagar Main Road, Virugambakkam, Chennai 600 092.
Well known poet, writer and lyricist Vairamuthu inaugurated the building on June 20 (Sunday).
Playback singer S Janaki and Carnatic maestro ‘Mandolin’ Srinivas were among the guests of honour.
