Creative Writing and Book-Making Workshop
A workshop on Book Making and Creative Writing was organisd by Creative Brain last Sunday for 7- to 11-year-olds in K K Nagar.
This was the first in the series of workshops planned by Binita Sashi of Spring into Reading and Gargi Advaithi of Zoom Kids.
They believe that exposure to story books and experiences is what makes a learner. Reading and writing go together. Learning one helps the other.
The workshop triggered the children’s imagination and they went through all the steps just like a real writer before they came up with their finished products. The organizers said that the children enjoyed the whole experience and were proud to show off their creation in the end.
