Power cables punctured in K K Nagar, residents fume in darkness
In the process of digging trenches on Rajamannar Salai for local civic work in K K Nagar, the powerline cables were punctured earlier this week
The colonies on this road went without power for days together. The EB men and Corporation men were breaking their heads on Thursday to set right this problem.
Irritated residents crowded around the workmen at the Rajamannar Salai and Ponnambalam Salai junction to find out when power would be restored.

Aparrt from this mess reported in your weekly, there is a thick 3 phase cable running along the pavement surface crossing the vicket gate of Santhosh
colony, on Ponnambalam Salai., for the past more than 6 months . This has brought to knowledge of TNEB’s A.Es and JEs of this area, on their mobile numbers. This has been reported to the local ward Councillor. No action has been initited till date to take the cable underground.
