Cancer awareness meet for students

Paterson Cancer Center in Vadapalani, under the auspices of Cancer Alleviation Foundation (CALF), a charitable trust, works with the motto of creating a cancer-free society by educating the children on cancer awareness, conducting free detection and education program for the public and continuing medical education programme for the doctors.

In connection with the seventh anniversary celebrations, a Cancer Awareness Program for school childrenwill be conducted on August 7.

The program is conducted with the aim of educating the school children on the causes of cancer, cardinal signs and the role of diet in the prevention of cancer.

There will be a quiz program and all the children will receive a certificate of participation from the chief guest.
