Pianist Anil Srinivasan chats, performs in K K Nagar

In his own quiet manner, writer-theatreperson and activist Gnani has been hosting some interesting cultural events around a well at his space in K K Nagar.

These events are made known by word of mouth and through SMSes and they attract a select group of people. Gnani has been surprised by the turnout but is happy that there is an audience for such events, which are mostly in Thamizh in this neighbourhood.

On Oct.10, at 4 p.m. the guest is musician Anil Srinivasan, who has been schooled in Western classical and Carnatic music, plays on the piano and is often seen performing with vocalist Sikkil Gurucharan.

Anil will talk about his music, collaborations and projects and will perform a bit. Admission  is open but first come first served and the atmosphere is informal.

Venue – Keni, 39, Alagiriswamy Salai, K K Nagar.
