A group of young people from different walks of life have come together to reach out to the less fortunate and to do some community service.

Under the Punnagai Charitable Trust banner, these youths, mostly students from this area have been active the past year.

Last Sunday, they organised a blood donation camp at Premier Grihalakshmi Apartments, Elango Nagar (South),

Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Virugambakkam,

This is their third major project. On two previous occasions they held Thuli, a camp for kids in orphanages in the city which provided them some fun, games and snacks.

There are also ongoing projects.

The group works out of the residence of Subramaniam in Saligramam.

They network and execute projects but since they have just started, they work in stages.
