Police booth opened in Saligramam colony

City Police Commissioner opened a Police Help Booth in Postal Audit Colony in Saligramam on Sunday  (Aug.7) and appreciated the efforts of the residents.

The booth, built with donations was required to provide a warm space for police who are on beats in this area which has witnessed a series of crimes, mostly chain snatching crimes.

The booth allows the men in khaki to rest a while after every beat and be available locally to people who are in trouble.
