Hospital suspends striking nurses

Vijaya Hospital has suspended over 100 nurses who worked at the hospital and were on strike for 3 weeks now.

Two meetings between the nurses’ leaders and managers of this well known hospital failed and the hospital has decided to pact against the nurses who are agitating and seek new solutions.

Already, doctors say that many operations have been postponed due to this strike resorted to by nurses who sought increase in wages and other work benefits.
